poster design project inspired by Bauhaus due to its vital importance in the world of design this movement represented.
The Bauhaus was an essential influence in the world of design in the 20th century. A rigid but elegant geometric style carried out with great economy of means has been considered characteristic of the Bauhaus; though, in fact, the works produced were richly diverse.
The Bauhaus typeface is made from a string of other typefaces, starting with a prototype font created by Herbert Bayer of the Bauhaus Design School in German. This prototype led to the creation of the Burko Bold font, which in turn led to the Blippo typeface which inspired the Bauhaus font.
Created by Edward Benguak, a typography designer who has designed over 600 fonts, and Victor Garuso a New York advertising designer who created nineteen font families in 1975 and has since been updated to create the current Bauhaus 93 style.
Distinguished in appearance; it’s often found in applications where the form is at least as necessary as the function by its geometric forms even strokes come in five weights and includes separate sets of upper and lower case letters.
